Hi there bloggers , In Te Waka Ako the year 5s were taking about the wellbeing survey  we talked about anti bullying week then we made an compliment circle also we a made an fortune teller about bullying. A fortune teller is you pick an colour then pick an number then pick another number then you chose it then you do it.

 The second thing we did was the musical gratitude game where you have to walk around the class room and when the music stops you have to tell the person next to you to tell what your grateful for, it was very fun because the music was cool and it was silent that so you could hear the music.

A compliment circle is when somebody has to compliment somebody in the circle when it keeps going on and on but it was very slow and also if you want to make an fortune teller here is the link

 When I had to talk I was very nervous and I did not no who to choose but I did not choose my friend because the teacher said not to chose your friend.

ANZAC TRENCH DAY

ANZAC TRENCH

Hi there bloggers , yesterday I came to school and my friends told me that there was string in Te Waka Ako . When we came inside and the teachers said we had to stay inside the trenches for the day but not morning tea and lunch time. We did activities like a basic facts test but the teacher played gunfire on the speaker and bombs. It distracted me alot! That is why I finished fast so I did not have to listen to it again.

 We wrote  letters because on the battle field they wrote letters home. Some other things we did under the string were not so fun. The teachers were shooting us with nerf guns but I said to my friend that I thought adults don't play with toys because nerf guns are gun toys. Everybody was screaming loud because the teacher was shooting us and I almost got shot in the head from Ms Daly and the teachers were wearing war paint and wearing back clothes

The funny part was when the teacher was angry she said Lieutenant Sands and some people called them Sergeant and Commander and the hardest activity was when we had to be blindfolded and take the string away and also I really hated how we were cramped up together.

Coment If you want to do this becausetrust me you don't want to stay in the trench for 6 hours.

RIPPER RUGBY

Hi there bloggers , Yesterday I went to Ripper rugby and my teacher Mr Riceman chose 10 people to go to ripper zones I got chose to go , I played domain road , Marshall Lang , hay park and may road in the semi final we won against them and the final it was hard when we vs

hallsy and we lost. the we went to say gg to the players because it was a good game then I saw my brother from Auckland rugby acadamy and he was the ref. My big brother that coached may road 2 and also we were pool D and he was pool A. So on the 3 one after we finshed we got an hour break to heal for the final game to go in the semi final and we won the semis so we went to the real finals and we lost which was sad for our team and also when we vs domain there was this kid who hated his team and he liked our team Waikowhai I thought we were going to lose to domain and but I was the captain for the 3rd game.

When we came back from ripper we went in the pool and had free time in it I did not want to go swiming because I was too tired and they keep on splashing me so I move way up to the top so I don't get splashed we also had ice blocks and also the rugby ball so we can keep passing the ball so we got the hand of it me and TJ were doing long as passes from 5 meters we were doing odell beckham jr throw in american football and I got bumt into a player.

Lockdown 4

Lock down 4

 Hi bloggers , on Friday it was Lock down number 4 and the students had to do work at home. I forgot to do mine because I had to do work from kumon. My favourite activity with my family was when we played a game called octopus. I was the octopus. Also I made my whole family do an obstacle course and who ever won gets chocolate. I stole the chocolate from my brother's sweet stash. 

When I saw the news and it said we are going to level 2 it was very cool that I was going to see my friends.

skateborading skills

Hello. 1 week ago my class, Kaiwhare, went to skate around the court. We learned very hard tricks. First we used the grass to do it to practice. It was easy on grass and also and we did something that was called the crab walk. The crab walk was kind of easy but Ben, the coach, made it more easy.

I improved one of the hard tricks. It was when you have to put the skateboard on its side and you have to jump back and land on the skateboard

Space rocket

Hi bloggers. Yesterday we made rockets. I made my own rocket and the name is noob1234 rocket. 

The application did not go well because my rocket had bad fins and I used a pump that blows air through it and we also had to curve paper.  I wanted to make a rocket because people do fireworks near my house. 

We also got a cylinder to make the main part of the rocket because some people do not know what to do. I did not get a buddiy because I wanted to have a go. We got a circle to curve it so it can be a circle Chinese hat to make the point of the rocket. These are the materials that we used: paper and Sellotape.

Here are the steps

4 get the windows

My rocket didn't fly so next time I would change the fins.

Cross country

My class is reading about cross country and we are also having cross country this Thursday, we were reading about cross country because to get fit and healthy.

We also did some learning about our bodies because we can really learn more about us, we did run's outside on the courts we ran around in circles.

Corbans Estate Trip

Hi blogger,this is when I went to the trip
on Wednesday November 13th.
Where do we go ? We went to the Corbans Art Estate.

We did  drumming and making leis and dancing and then we all came togaether to gather the classes. A trip is a short journey, a school trip and we learnt how to hula and learnt some moves from Fox. Fox told us how to do a Hawaiian dance and at the  end we got our bags and left. 

I like when we were drumming.
We did the Fiji and Tonga languages and many more.
